Appendix, unimportant.

Good morning, dollies.
I woke up this morning felling a tad bit dizzy. & my body aches didn't help at all. I intended to get up early and head on out for a nice morning jog but that didn't happen. My legs were hurting (and they still are) anyway, so I guess I should rest for a bit. The weather today looks gorgeous though ! Albeit it's already noon. Look out your window & you'll get what I mean.

Remember the time I tweeted about my sister being admitted into the hospital? Well, it was pretty long ago so it's okay if you don't. (: She was admitted cause she had to undergo surgery to remove her appendix. What was it called again? Appendicitis, if I'm not mistaken. Yea, she had that. The surgeon said she had to stay in the hospital for at least two nights. I offered to accompany her for her first night there. Mum didn't agree at first but she gave me the thumbs up shortly after. Mind you, My finals were scheduled to start two days after her operation. I figured I could study at the hospital.

Steph was admitted into Gleneagles Intan Medical Centre which is situated in KL. It's a private Hospital. Pearly from chuch works there! (:

First thing that caught my eyes were the number of Hand Sanitizers there were hanging off every wall I saw. Even in the ward itself. hehh. I sound like a Jakun.

You could not have imagine the amount of stuff Steph packed for a 3D2N stay over at the Hospital. The black bag itself is purely filled with stuff to keep her entertained. Mostly Books. She even brought the ukelele ! Mum actually warned her not to pack things worth a fortnight's stay when she's only staying for such a short period of time but knowing steph, she did what she did and mum shook her head hard when she opened the cupboards beside her bed in the Hospital. Steph never packs light. I repeat, NEVER. :p

She even brought winter Apparel just in case it would get a little chilly. She was warm the whole time while I, on the other hand, froze my bumbum off. I couldn't sleep well cause the blankie they provided was as thin as ever and the air-cond was blowing more towards me. & the chair I was sitting on while I was studying was right below where the air-cond blew. Since they moved my fold-able bed into the ward already, there was hardly any space for me to move the chair. Had to steal Steph's over-sized jacket which I practically drowned in.

Pauline & her friend bought Steph two helium-filled 'Get Well Soon' Balloons !

Aww. (:

Daddy accompanied Steph throughout the day of her surgery. He bought a day's worth of Wi-Fi at the hospital, brought his laptop along with him and worked there. His office was pretty near the hospital anyways. (:
Pa , you need to learn to relax a little when you smile. Too cute !

Studied History as it was our first paper. That went pretty well.

My fold-able bed for the night. Brought my darling baby bolster. :p Don't judge.

Brooke Fraser has a gorgeous Voice.
Mmm, I have weird feet. Weird but fearfully made by God. (:

Steph's view! She never knew she had that view until Mum pulled apart the curtains. I took study breaks just to stare out the window. KL looks stunning at night. Which reminds me. I still haven't gone to Look Out Point in Ampang ! Anyone wanna go with me?

Worn out.

Bye-bye wing. ): Purchased from NZ.

Woke up the next morning, helped Steph to the Ladies Room (I was her personal Maid for two days) and then headed downstairs to buy myself Breakfast. Bought a cup of Hot Chocolate (Y) from Dome and a packet of Nasi Lemak with Rendang Chicken! I was deciding between the one with Fried Egg or the chicken. Rendang Chicken is NOT easy to eat with plastic cutleries. So I regretted. hah.

After breakfast, thankfully, the Nurse came in with Steph's Appendix. She was so excited, she asked me to take a picture of it. Looks like a humongous chromosome to me! Yeaa yea ?

Through the Window.

& she was feeling better the next day.

Can even pout for a picture ! :p

& because of this, she couldn't play the uke.

& so I took over! She printed out chords before-hand and so I spent most of my study breaks playing the uke. The first song that popped into my head was Just You & Me by Zee Avi. Mumbled along the lyrics cause I never really learnt them and so sung only what I managed to recall from listening to her songs over and over and over again. (: Dad was laughing when I played. Wonder if it was out of amusement of amazement? hahahahahha. Sorry for being so full of myself. :p

& then it was his turn to try! (: Daddy use to play the guitar really well.

Another random shot.

Steph asked me to make a list of what she should ask the doctor when he pays her another visit. I conveniently added on a fourth reminder. (:

The surgery went smoothly and I now have an appendix-less sister. Glad everything's over. & that includes getting vomit on my feet. Steph's still unable to do any sports which is a huge bummer! & now, she's using the 'I'm Sick' excuse everytime I bully her. Pfft. Annoying! Heading out now. Family dinner tonight. Wheee~

P/s : Year-End Hols have officially started ! Any plans yet ?

Book Worm.

Hello there.
I've a pretty relaxed weekend coming up. Or so I'd like to think so. Schedule isn't hectic. Perfect ! I wanna doll up for no reason and bugg Steph to bring me out. (: Yeaa, I have urges like that. Quite often, actually. Ohhh, I'm definately keeping me fingers crossed !
I blended my first smoothie today with the new blender I've fallen in love with. (Y) Chocolate Banana ! Grandmama & Mummy liked it. Steph & Nick rated it as 'so-so'. & so, I decided to grade my first attempt of blending a smothie with a "PASS". (: Hey, cut me some slack. I'm new at this. Any suggestions for my next blend? Honey Dew, maybe? I've limited ingredients, it's so annoying.

Mummy dropped by Midvalley the other day as a favor for a friend and I took the opportunity to request for us to pop by MPH. I had a sudden urge to buy more books. I only had one book in mind but I couldn't find it. I had no luck with plenty other MPH outlets as well. I think it's quite an old book so I guess I can't blame them? Anyways I came home with

Not one .....

Not two.....

but THREE books! hahahaha, defo made my day! Thanks mum. (Y)

I couldn't resist buying The Time Traveler's Wife. I will be ready this time tho. I will try (note the word try) my best to NOT soak the pages. :D
The other two books are Before I Die by Jenny Downham & the Book Lovers' Appreciation Society. Check out my sidebar under "Currently Reading" for more insides on the last book. I find the mix of short stories quite interesting. Both in a good way and a bad way. Lols. Some stories just weren't my cup of tea. I've only read one-third of the book so far and so have yet to discover more talented authors. (:

P/s : I wish I had more time to squeeze in a part-time job. But then again, I wouldn't have the time to blendddddd all I want ! heh. & Welcome home, Andrea Cheah ! Nick should be the happiest guy in PJ atm.

Till I get hit by a ball of inspiration,

I'm back !

Hello, love.

If you've been following me on Twitter, you should know that my internet connection has been ludicrous. We've just changed our modem today and I somehow managed to pop online for awhile and as I'm typing this, Oh there you go. Limited Connectivity AGAIN. This is so frustrating! Streamyx is driving me up the wall.
I feel so lost, atm. It feels a tad bit weird to be blogging. Forgive me, this needs a little getting use to all over again even though it has only been 2weeks or so. (: Okay let's see.. Right, I'll start off with my trip to Genting (again) with Mummy, her Taiwan clients & ze' b.buddy ! This was on a Friday, two weeks ago. Sigh, yeaah. I'm way behind time. Rushed home from school and off we went! Stopped by KL tower cause mum's clients hasn't been there before and neither has Jia Xin !

[ Psst : Long post ahead ]

& she calls herself a Malaysian. :p I recall visiting KL tower when I was 8 years old on a school trips with my primary schoolmates. Back then, mum actually entrusted me with a film camera. HAHA, I was so proud ! Off I went snapping pictures in of KL from KL tower itself. Being so young, I didn't know that the FLASH would actually reflect off glass and destroy pictures. Generally speaking, that is. & don't forget, it's a film camera. Mum washed all the photos out and ....... heh.

I'm sure my photography skills have improved since then. :p

Jia Xin's actually holding a KL tower shaped bottle. It was cute! She gladly took one home. (:

Mummy's Taiwan Clients who were just so adorable. (: They spoke chinese with their typical China slang and also understood english which made all our conversations pretty smooth.

She was checking if she could see her hand if she placed it right in front of it. Whatever you're thinking right now, yea that was exactly what I thought.

& then we tried this. Nops, she couldn't see me. hahahahaha.

Shoe take #1. More to come!

Picture from the bulletin.

Tadaaa. A couple of hours after that, we went there ! *points*

Want to guess what I was checking out?
` SWIMMING POOLS !

Pool #1, Concorde Hotel. Hmm, not bad. The pool's pretty small but the surroundings are pretty.

Pool #2 & #3.
I'm not exactly sure if that tiny pool on the left belongs to Shangri-La but it sure is tiny! But pool #3 was reallyreally pretty. It had a water feature and the chairs around looked comfy.

Pool #4. & The Winner is .......

Pool #4 ! Jia Xin agreeeees. (: You can't see it from this picture but there's a small jaccuzi inside. HAHA, sorry I was entertaining myself.

Wheeeeee, down the elevator ! That thing moves fast, I tell you.
------
We moved on to the Animal place thingy right outside the entrance of KL tower before you head up the escalator. It was rather interesting. It's sorta like a mini zoo except they have more reptiles compared to Mammals or Amphibians. Anyways, I'll just go with pictures and only add on captions when I feel like it. Ok? Okay. (:

This totally reminds me of Faber-Castell Colour pencils ! :D

So pretty. (:

Red eyes.

Oh this I have to add. He had to pay RM5 for this picture to be taken. & let's not forget that it's taken by your own camera and not by some professional with a DSLR. Can you say, Rippp offffff ?

Obese.

Prey.

Mr. I'm cute & Fluffy !

I thought they were stones. Literally. They were so good at staying stationery but I guess they didn't have much space to move around anyways.

Check out that Chicken's Mohawk.

Rocker much? Wonder where he keeps his electric guitar.

Introducing.. the White Ears Marmoset ! Freaaakkyyyy...

Do you think it's smelling it's friend's butt?
& then we move on to the sleeping beauties ;

This monkey is super kesian okay. The picture says it all. But he looks like he's sleeping so soundly... aw. (:

& the best part of the trip is that I caught a snake shedding it's skin on camera! Actually caught it on video but .. I can't seem to upload it. So yes. Sorry. (:

Left KL and started our journey to Genting ! Wooohh, I sound so jakun.

Don't I look like a cave woman who just discovered fire in the picture on the right? We stayed a night in First World Hotel. Breakfast was good. That's all I have to say about First World. :p

Jia Xin read this as "BLIM CITY". hahahha. Honest mistake. (:

Cute chair ! Try doing this with your own hand. NOT easy!

Walked around the indoor theme park and decided to get ourselves some ice-cream. Xin never knew BR existed there. After that, we both got air-brushed tattoos.

Mine only lasted a week or so. Jia Xin's one is still there. lols.

Chocolate Fountainnn.

Headed back to our room by 12am. Right before that, we decided to get ourselves ;

Instant Noodles ! (: Supper.

Washed up and headed to bed at 2am with hopes of waking up at 7am to get ready, have breakfast & head on to the outdoor themepark. Let's just say that plan failed. All thanks to the person who invented the SNOOZE button! But thankfully, it rained that morning. (:

Right after xin cleaned her shoe of tomato sauce from breakfast,

We went shopppping ! For shoes. Mum bought 2 pairs.
Happy belated Halloween !

Shoe take #2.
& then we parted ways with mum. First ride was Cyclone.

Frustrated B.buddy.

Mata Sepet B.buddy.

Blur B.buddy.

Happy B.buddy! Check out the girl behind. Wonder if she was really smiling at the camera or was it a coincidence?

& guess what we saw ! A grandma on the ride! RESPECT. I wouldn't know if I'd still have the guts to actually ride a roller coaster when I turn 60. Not sure how old she is tho. Fuhh, think I'd die of a heart attack.

This picture is so paparazzi worthy !

Shoe Take #3.

Fishies! We spent at least half an hour feeding them. & might I add that this was the most entertaining part of our trip. (: They were adorable.

Nyom Nyom Nyyooom. :O

Fish War.

B.buddy having fun. I accidentally dropped at least a quarter of the food pack. HAHA, sorry xin. RM3 for a pack of fish food, btw. (:

Cat Fish ! They were the most fun to feed.

Waiting for the Pirate Ship ride. We were talking the entire time when we were on the ride. Pfft.

Shoe take #4

Space Shot ! We didn't get to go on this ride. We were behind time already and so only managed to get on three rides. One of which was the go-kart. Jia Xin got the slowest kart. This guy passed her at least three times and pretended to 'horn' at her. hahahahah.

Random take. The guy was walking towards the little girl to give her a hugg. Put a smile on my face. (:

What does this look like to you? They're luggages. Tonnes of luggages forming little hills. Looks like it belongs to a refugee camp, yea? lols.

Shoe take #5.

---------------
I'm sorry, this post was..... unsatisfactory. To me at least. I've to rush off yet again. I'll be back for my next post, don't you worry. My internet connection is still fuzzy but I'm crossing my fingers hoping that it'll be steady again soon. Do bear with me. School ends this Friday! Oh, & Jia Xin says Hi. (:

Till whenever I blog again,
Natalyn.

Short one.

//edit , bottom.

I didn't notice you were there. :p Sorry, I know I have left this place for quite awhile and I'm sure it has already collected a large amount of dust. I've been tweeting a fair bit more tho. Never the less, You will be hearing from me soon! Probably by tomorrow after school. (: Oh, & I've finished reading The Gift ! Will do a review on that one as well. Off to cheer with mandalove & thelooi. (:

;
My internet has been such a pain in the arse for the past few days! Currently using mum's Broadband. I never seem to get to finish my post every time I attempt to blog. It's so frustrating. So please bear with me for a bit! I'd appreciate it much. I'm drained out for the moment. Gonna hit the sacks since it's already late but I'll continue my post soon. Yew Kong's wedding tomorrow ! I can already hear the wedding bells ringing ! Busy weekend ahead again. This would normally be good news but hey, aren't holidays suppose to be more carefree-like? More frustration .. But I guess my hols haven't exactly started yet. It's not like I still attend school everyday anyways. Okay sorry, didn't realize I was trailing off. Check back soon! (:

The Gift.

- by Cecelia Ahern

Specifically for Rachel Tan , look look the Ribbon! (:

It even has a 'To & From' tag. Cute aye? Lilian, love.

This one's easy. Defo a celeb make-over for my roooooom ! Oprahh , where are you?

;
So, I'm really enjoying this book so far. Currently at page 194. (: Oh, & sorry for the short posts these days. I'm pretty much caught up with tonnes of things to do. Gonna have yet another busy busy weeeekend. With tonnes of fun too, I hope ! and and and, I got 8th place in class. A very deceiving 8th place cause my overall average turns my smile downside up. I really hope they don't plan to stream our classes next year cause I like our current teachers. Urgh. I've some major catching up to do ! Next year's gonna be quite a challenge, I can tell. But I'm certainly looking forward to our Family Holiday that's coming up soon!

Film Of The Year,

[Click for trailer]

I rate ; 100 / 10
& No, I certainly am not exaggerating ! This movie could melt a heart made out of stone. Man, that sounded so cliche. But it's TRUE. I certainly did more than just tear during the movie. Sitting beside me was an even bigger cry baby. (: Who was better off, since she had a pack of tissue in hand & I didn't. It was heart-warming as much as it was heart-wrenching. I left the cinema, astounded & definitely in awe. I was expecting this movie to be a tad bit predictable but boy, was I wrong. Took me by surprise at almost every scene. No words could describe how I felt. Made my day! I wouldn't mind watching this again. & Again. & probably again. and then one more time. Well, you get me. Ohhh, Ladies! Don't forget to bring along an entire box of tissue and wear WATERPROOF make-up when you catch this one.

Rachel McAdams was perfect for this role ! She played it so well, it was so inspiring. & not to mention, she looked gorgeous ! Her character was tough and she understood her husband's condition which was inevitable. I find that rather Admirable. (: You could feeeeel the love they had for each other. & she loved him soooo much ! Awwwhh.

I would loveeeee to read the Novel, but I'm afraid that I would soak every page with my ridiculous (but necessary) tears. & then after it literally dries off, Steph would probably be the second one to soak the entire book again. Sighhh . I don't think I'm strong enough. =/ Audrey Niffenegger , you're a genius.

AMAZING MOVIE.
DON'T MISS IT, please.
